Red Cross

The Red Cross 33rd International Conference was a four day event based in Geneva, focusing around various topics of discussion and ‘Spotlight’ breakout sessions.

As the event was multilingual the challenge was to create a simple visual system using colour and iconography that could be rolled out across all conference materials.

We created an abstract system based on shapes initially which would be used for top level information and to create a striking brand for the event, but for the conference materials a more literal approach was required. The use of the hand icon was seen as an universally understood symbol of sharing, trust and openness and a feature in all of the icons.
