The Colour Book
This project sought to take an existing annual report and reinterpret the information in its simplest form.
The solution was a book which houses only the most essential information from each page. Each page is then printed on either blue or red paper as a signifier as to whether it is good or bad. The overarching thought is that the viewer could simply glance at the report and see whether it had been a good or bad year for the company.
The book comes with a wraparound poster that when unfolded reveals a flatplan of the entire report. Each square represents one of the 212 pages.
The edges give an immediate idea of how the company performed during the year. The wraparound poster is slightly shorter which allows for a proportional view on the cover also. 212 is both the title and the length of the report.
